Kari Forthun

Kari Forthun has several years of experience from the oil and gas sector, and is today the Chief Technical Officer at Compact Carbon Capture, a Baker Hughes Venture developing compact technology for flexible and cost-efficent solutions for CO2 capture and decarbonisation of industry. Kari is also a member of The Norwegian Board of Technology, appointed to provide the Norwegian government with advice on new technology. Kari has participated in “Energilandet”, a project using role models to educate young studens in the topics of energy, sustainability and climate change, and to inspire young students to choose a career in the energy sector. She was also selected One of Norways 50 leading women in tech 2021.
