Nika Alemahdi is an experienced Researcher which holds a PhD in Energy sciences, with the focus on  Future Fuels for Transportation. In addition to Lund University in Sweden, Nika has worked or studied at universities in four other countries, giving her internationally inclusive know-how for problem solving and excellent communication skills. Part of her international experiences includes a master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a position as Research engineer at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.

Today, Nika works in the “Complete Engine System Studies & design department” and is responsible for engine fuels and oils from research to production. Her responsibilities include Researching and adapting the future fuel roadmap for the company, Development of future engine oils, Responsibility for specification and quality control of research fuels and oils as well as manufactory fill, Leading and participating in failure analysis and root-cause investigations related to engine oils and fuels, and Technical support for all fuel and engine oil related topics.

Throughout her career, Nika has engaged in support of advancing global sustainable development by conducting inter/multi-disciplinary research in sustainable energy systems and/or renewable energy feasibility projects. This work has resulted in several publications on alternative fuels, combustion engines, emissions testing, and waste-to-energy.
